Calvin brings over 10 years of experience in the financial services and insurance industry. His expertise lies in risk management and wealth building for individuals and businesses.

Calvin's contribution to financial education goes beyond his role as an insurance agency owner. He has a passion for sharing his knowledge and empowering others, as seen in his mentorship at the Surge Program in Hampton Roads and his leadership in workshops for local youth organizations. His commitment to financial education and the financial services industry is evident in his role as an instructor, where he showcases his leadership skills and dedication to empowering the next generation.

Outside of owning and operating an insurance company, Calvin is the author of the “Black Millennial's Declassified Guide: Survival Guide to Insurance,” which offers practical financial advice to millennials and their families, including money-saving strategies for insurance.

As CFO, Calvin oversees financial forecasting, reporting, and risk management, drawing from his position as CEO of Anew Financial. As a subject matter expert, Calvin also helps enhance program quality by providing valuable insight, real-world examples, and helpful tips that assist students in making connections, making informed decisions, and improving their financial well-being.

Calvin is a dedicated father who enjoys playing flag football, coaching youth sports, performing in the HBCU Battle of the Bands, and actively engaging with his church community. These personal interests and community involvement reflect his balanced lifestyle and ability to connect with others beyond the financial services industry.
